Starbucks Alpha Review 06

February to May 2006 saw One Body host an Alpha Course in Starbucks, Wolverhampton City Centre. Instead of the usual meal guests were treated to delicious mugs of coffee and an array of muffins and cookies. Aimed at 18-30's the course launched in February seeing 50 people attend on the first night. With an average of between 25-35 continuing for the duration of the ten weeks.

Each week the different topics were delivered by speakers for the different churches involved (All Nations Christian Centre, King's Community Church, St. Jude's, St. Phillip's, Vintage Faith Community and the Christian Union) and then discussed further in small groups.

The Alpha Holy Spirit Day, week six of the course, was hosted at All Nations Christian Centre and provided a great platform for the teaching and demonstration of the Holy Spirit.

The course attracted students, young adults and saw at least 6 over 30's eager to attend the course and was lead by people in their 20's.
