Click here for more information Dear [FIRSTNAME], Our warmest greetings to you and best wishes for 2012! As we send greetings to you we want to encourage you to cleave ever more closely to God's word, both the written scriptures and the prophetic words he has given you. 2011 saw an upsurge of the prophetic in the LifeSpring family, for individuals, the church and future plans God has for us. I believe the more you honour and give place to genuine prophetic ministry, the more you position yourself for God to reveal his heart to you. Often you can trace a prophetic thread running through time; an example for us right now is our new building. The LifeSpring building project was initiated through a word from God and the opportunity to purchase some land in a prime location. As we stepped out in faith God has accelerated his prophetic purpose. In 2011 we received several prophetic words quite independently, that God was going to open healing wells in the form of ministry that would take place out of the facility. Then just a few weeks ago three old wells were discovered on the building site itself, as if by way of confirmation. Finally, a church member came across an article in a 1904 journal on the subject of 'The Wells of Wolverhampton'. Here is an extract reads: "Some 150 years ago a well existed in Chapel Ash, called the Spa well, and was said to possess remarkable healing properties." I discovered that this was in fact and artesian well – one that springs up from pressure caused by water travelling underground from a higher elevation. What a prophetic encouragement for a ministry called 'LifeSpring'! I believe we can all discover prophetic threads in our lives if we are diligent to follow the revelation he has already given us. May you be encouraged and inspired as you pursue his presence in 2012! Our love and best wishes TONY and URSULA WASTALL The Father and his Family Since the time of the reformation we have tended to view the gospel through the lens of Romans chapter 5. There, Paul describes how fallen man is reconciled to a holy God. He writes as follows: Therefore as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:18-19 For 500 hundred years the church has been building upon the amazing revelation of justification by faith alone. Wonderful though this is however, a massive adjustment is taking place to our understanding in these days. God is deepening our understanding and we are beginning to see the gospel through the lens of Luke 15 where a lost son is restored to a compassionate father. It is the story of a family relationship. Mozambique Mission Report In September Tony visited the town of Dondo in Mozambique for the second annual leaders' conference with churches led by Telmo Paulino who has become a good friend and spiritual son to Tony over recent years. Telmo began his ministry about 7 years ago, preaching the gospel and reaching people from his home church in Dondo near to the city of Beira on the Indian Ocean. This often involves travelling several days on a bus, speaking to people in the market place and gathering converts and enquirers to form a new congregation. To date God has used him to plant around 50 churches in this way. Read more...
