About LifeSpring Church

LifeSpring Church was founded in 1998 by a small group of Christians under the leadership of Tony and Ursula Wastall, with a vision to bring spiritual life and social transformation to the city of Wolverhampton.

Originally from Essex, Tony and Ursula had been pastoring a church in West Yorkshire when God redirected them to move to Wolverhampton to establish a ministry base from which to reach the world with the love and goodness of God.

Over the years LifeSpring Church has met in a hotel, University lecture theatre and school hall. In 2009 a piece of land was bought and construction began on a purpose built facility in the Chapel Ash district of the city. Today the church continues to grow and expand its ministry base touching lives and communities.

Direction and ministry of the church takes place through an Eldership and a Pastoral team led by Tony with a wider leadership of more than 50 people. LifeSpring Church is a limited company with charitable status overseen by a board of trustees.

LifeSpring Church places high emphasis on strong, healthy relationships. This is fostered through a network of Connection Groups meeting around the city. Connection Groups are the heartbeat of the church where people experience authentic Christianity and reach out to the community.

LifeSpring Church has a passion to extend the love and goodness of God to the city of Wolverhampton and beyond. This is expressed through our prison team, debt advice centre, youth work, job club and many other areas of ministry.

LifeSpring Church puts a premium on partnering with other ministries around the world including; Global Legacy family and Catch the Fire Ministries.
