We give thanks for all that God is doing at Ark. The church, based in North Birmingham, recently celebrated our 15th anniversary and is thriving in connection with the LifeSpring churches at Wolverhampton and Burntwood.

We now have over forty families attending regularly which has created the need for a part-time Youth & Children’s Leader. A few months ago, a church pastor from Hong Kong, Tiffany (or Tiff), was appointed. She has fantastic energy and experience to engage and develop this key part of our ministry.

We have had three great community events since Easter based either at Ark or out on the local village green. Hundreds have come along to meet and have fun together. They have heard the gospel, been invited to Ark and some have received prayer. We regularly hear of miracles taking place in people’s lives.

Grapevine, the weekly community coffee morning, has been attracting more and more people. We generally have 60-70 enjoying time together, receiving advice and support for various life issues, and prayer, too wherever possible.

We are seeing the Holy Spirit moving and the presence of God is evident when we gather. The church family continues to grow, with newcomers most Sundays. Having two services each week has helped provide just about enough space, but we are desperate for new premises with room for everyone to meet together and allow for further growth. In October we are hiring facilities at a local school to allow us to have a One Church gathering and plan to use classrooms for children’s and youth work. We are so excited!

We are in the process of developing a new generation of leaders equipped to serve the growing needs of the church, and have invited around 30 people to join an Emerging Leaders group. In addition we recognise the need for a spiritual renewal in many in the fellowship and are planning FIRE (fully ignited ready & equipped) modules to begin in the Autumn. There is excitement about all that the Lord is doing and is about to do among us.
